PETALING JAYA: Kenny Rogers Roasters introduces a new dish, Cheezy Rice Treasure, for cheese lovers this quarter, available at its outlets nationwide.
Made with aromatic rice baked with mozzarella cheese and broccoli, diners can choose between two scrumptious flavours.
Seafood Royale comes with dory fish and crab sticks while Beef Supreme offers beef slices in bolognese sauce.
Diners also get to choose additional two side dishes and a Kenny’s homemade muffin for dessert.
A favourite among customers, Kenny’s homemade muffin is available in three delectable flavours: Golden Vanilla, Banana Raisin and Chocolate Raisin.
Berjaya Roasters Sdn Bhd marketing and communications manager Zulkifli Jafar said the restaurant introduces new dishes to their menu every quarter of the year.
Originally set up by popular American country singer Kenny Rogers and former Kentucky governor John Brown Junior in 1991, the mid-casual restaurant is well-known for its rotisserie roasted chicken.
This year, it offers two new beverages to complement its Cheezy Rice Treasure Meal: Choco Garden and Latte Garden.
“It’s different from our normal ice-blended drinks, we added chocolate chips and mint leaf to give the flavour a different twist,” said Berjaya Roasters’s asisstant marketing manager Won Li Yin.
The Cheezy Rice Treasure Meal, which comes with either a Choco or Latte Garden, is available at RM18.50.
The a la carte dish is priced at RM13.50 while Choco Garden sells at RM8.90 and Latte Garden at RM12.90.
Diners who share their experience with hashtag #CheezyRiceTreasure on the social media stand to win a mystery “treasure” from the restaurant.
The competition ends on April 7.
Five winners will be picked from Twitter and Instagram each and 10 winners from Facebook.
